Job Summary
Perform diagnostic examinations, assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures, and operate large C-arm and O-arm equipment under surgeon direction. Operate HIS and PACS systems to ensure quality patient documentation, verify exam orders and demographic consistency, and maintain radiation safety and infection control standards. Monitor supply inventory, keep exam rooms stocked, and model Just Culture principles while maintaining HIPAA compliance. One year of radiology experience preferred; ARRT license and BLS certification required. Hourly pay ranges from $34.05 to $47. Located at the 56-bed Vail Health hospital in Vail, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Completion of all educational and clinical requirements to qualify for ARRT examination
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
