Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and process film for highly complex diagnostic exams. Utilize radiation safety devices, types, proofread, and mail results to achieve quality exams within the appropriate timeframe. Maintain and clean equipment work areas while reporting malfunctions or breakage appropriately. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs to maintain ARRT certification and current CPR credentials.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
