Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist assists physicians using diagnostic imaging equipment such as x-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography machines. Responsibilities include performing x-rays as per medical orders, maintaining equipment, preparing patients for procedures, cleaning and stocking medical spaces, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and governmental guidelines. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, proficiency in electronic medical records, and the ability to work independently. Requires an associate degree, ARRT certification, and state licensure, along with a minimum of 2 years of medical office experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent, and completion of an approved RT program
- ARRT Certification; must have Maryland, Virginia and/or DC State Licensure as applicable to the position
- CPR for Healthcare Providers certification
- 2+ years of medical office experience strongly preferred
