Job Summary
Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within assigned modality under general supervision. Conduct patient assessments, correlate clinical findings with exam requests, and document all data within the EHR. Educate patients for exams, position them, and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare, and administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam or procedure. Select technical factors to produce quality images, identify anatomy, and evaluate images for technical quality while applying ALARA principles and MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures and perform Front Desk and Medical Assistant functions.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography within one year of eligibility
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Must be able to work every third weekend and every third holiday
