Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging exams, verify patient orders, and review images for quality and accuracy while adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Perform studies within time limits, maintain accurate patient records, and operate equipment and information systems to ensure image quality. Assist students and colleagues in exam protocols, procedures, and positioning while providing patient education and ensuring comfort. Maintain competency in all clinical and technical functions, follow medical necessity and coding guidelines, and report equipment failures. Complete assignments across multiple hospitals in the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro, and Montana on a 14-week rotation.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Ability to obtain Radiologic Technology License with Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department
