Job Summary
Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians per established hospital standards. Selects appropriate technical settings, ensures patient safety, documents procedures, maintains equipment and rooms, and participates in department performance improvement to ensure quality of care. Requires completion of a Radiology Technology Program and ARRT(R) registration (or active eligibility) with BLS certification within 14 days of hire and state licensure as required; associates degree in related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology Technology Program
- ARRT(R) registration in Radiography or eligible/new graduate waiting to take the registry
- BLS Certification within 14 days of hire; state license as required
