Job Summary
Radiology Technologist for Commonwealth Health Physician Network (Orthopedics) performing radiographic examinations, assisting the Radiologist in complex procedures, preparing and administering contrast media per regulations, and serving as the primary liaison between patients and Radiology team. Maintains radiation safety, demonstrates anatomy/physiology knowledge, and applies professional judgment. Engages in patient care, communication, documentation, quality improvement, and continuing education to support optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences / registry in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT registration must be maintained; BLS required and completed by end of orientation period
- Clinical experience in radiology areas including routine radiography, fluoroscopy, ER procedures, and OR procedures preferred but newly registered graduates acceptable
- Licenses/Certificates: ARRT registered; BLS certification by end of orientation period
