Job Summary
Perform all adult, geriatric, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal diagnostic radiographic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist, applying independent judgment to manage ionizing radiation safely. Complete procedures at a level requiring technical independence but utilizing ingenuity to address specific patient needs. Maintain certification as a Washington Radiologic Technologist and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists national provider, along with BLS certification. Work a per-diem schedule with variable shifts at Swedish Edmonds in Edmonds, WA, supporting the organization's mission to improve health and wellbeing across the Puget Sound region.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a program in Radiology Technology as accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Washington Radiologic Technologist
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a hospital radiographic department with demonstrated competencies in all radiologic procedures
