Job Summary
Radiology Technologist who produces quality radiographs including OR, Fluoro, DEXA, or EOS under the Radiology Director/Manager to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate exposure technique for proper penetration, proper use of markers, documenting patient history, verifying physician orders, performing OR/surgery cases with C-arms and portable machines, supervising radiology students during clinical rotations, effective communication of technical information, and adapting to workload changes. Also adheres to departmental safety and infection-control standards, attends departmental in-services, and participates in continuing education, service standards, and quality-improvement activities. Requires graduation from a Radiology Technology program with registry eligibility, BLS, and ARRT radiography certification; two years radiology experience preferred.

- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a Radiology Technology program and registry eligible
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two years Radiology Technology experience preferred
- REQUIRED COURSE: BLS
- REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS: State of Work Location: Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin; Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA); ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
