Job Summary

Perform radiographic exams per protocol with ARRT(R) certification, ensuring proper patient identification, positioning, and image quality. Review images for diagnostic accuracy and adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards. Complete exams and documentation within expected timeframes, support clinic workflow, and provide patient education and comfort. Operate imaging equipment and systems (including PACS) and follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and reporting issues. Possess anatomy knowledge and skills in image evaluation, and demonstrate strong patient communication and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine clinic. May function as an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting per MA competency requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (R)
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (Utah)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting
