Job Summary
Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within assigned modality under the supervision of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient by performing assessments, correlating clinical findings with exam requests, and documenting data within the EHR. Educate patients for exams, position them, and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare, and administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam or procedure. Select technical factors to produce quality images, properly identify anatomy, and evaluate images for technical quality while applying ALARA principles and MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures and support urgent care by assisting providers and staff with patient flow.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography within one year of eligibility
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be available for evening shift, 3:00pm - 8:0pm four days and 4:00pm - 8:0pm one day
- Must be able to work in Radiology - Fairhaven, MA

- Ability to work collaboratively with the Urgent Care team while balancing radiology responsibilities
