Job Summary
Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patient and equipment, instructing patients about procedures with high service standards, performing radiographic imaging examinations independently (including on-call, portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department). Minimum requirements include an associate degree or trade-school equivalency; CPR; Illinois IEMA license and Radiology Technologist registration; preferred experience <2 years. Location is South County After Hours, Saint Louis, MO, with 16 hours per week and weekend coverage as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or trade school equivalency in Radiologic Technology
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI; Radiology Technologist - Reg
- CPR certification
- Experience: <2 years preferred
- Ability to perform general radiographic procedures for adult/pediatric patients
- Ability to work on-site at South County After Hours location; weekend/on-call schedule as described
