Job Summary
Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies, including patient positioning, operation of radiation equipment, and electronic system management. Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and medications as required. Phlebotomy competency may be required for certain sites. Maintain registry eligibility for ARRT certification or register within 90 days of hire. Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia. This part-time role at Sentara Urgent Care J. Required Qualifications
- Radiology Technologist
- general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients
- positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology
- operation of radiation producing equipment
- operation of the electronic Radiology systems
- preparation of patient room/equipment/medications
- Phlebotomy competency
- Certification/Licensure Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT
- registered within 90 days of hire
