Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and perform highly complex exams while utilizing radiation safety devices. Types, proofreads, and mails results to ensure quality within the appropriate timeframe. Maintain and clean equipment work areas, reporting malfunctions or breakage immediately. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs to maintain certification and skills. Requires ARRT certification, current state license, and CPR certification with a minimum of two years in radiography training.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
