Job Summary
X-Ray Technician (Radiology Technologist) in an urgent-care setting performing provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and radiation protection; documents patient encounters in EMR, sets up immobilization equipment, and may travel to off-site facilities to meet patient care needs. Requires ARRT certification and Virginia state licensure, BLS upon hire; expects familiarity with radiology workflow, EPIC/EHR, PACS, and radiology information systems, with strong patient care and teamwork in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
- State Licensure (Virginia) required
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required upon hire)
