Job Summary
Prepare and screen patients for imaging procedures; produce diagnostic images for use in diagnosing medical problems; explain and perform radiologic procedures with age-appropriate considerations; assess patient pain and coordinate with physicians for intervention when needed; perform all aspects of patient care in a setting that emphasizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of healthcare errors; ideal candidate has ARRT (Radiography) and CT registration, BCLS certification, BS preferred, and experience in radiography/CT with willingness to train single modality techs to ARRT (R) for CT.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Currently Registered — Radiography, and CT
- Current BCLS certification
- 2 years experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required
