Job Summary
Perform advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria under the direction of the Department Director and supervision of the Radiology Supervisor. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Act as a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists and participate in call schedules to meet department staffing needs. Travel to off-campus locations when requested to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures. This full-time, 8-hour day shift position offers relocation assistance and includes national provider BLS and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Completion of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Radiologic Technology Certification Committee (RTCC) of the CA Radiologic Health Branch
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- Must be able to travel to and from off-campus locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when requested
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a hospital-based radiographer
