Job Summary
Perform advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Act as a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the department. Participate in call schedules to meet staffing needs and travel to off-campus locations for radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when requested. Work full-time 8-hour day shifts under the direction of the Department Director and supervision of the Radiology Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a hospital-based radiographer
