Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams on patients using specialized equipment while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines. Review images for quality and accuracy, complete studies within acceptable time limits, and assist students or other technologists in exam protocols and positioning. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, practice infection control, and maintain accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions. Operate equipment and information systems to support medical necessity, coding, charging, and quality control programs. This role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS certification. Located at Rocky Mountain Orthopedics in Grand Junction, Colorado, the position offers 36 weekly hours with an hourly range of $29.14 to $44.94.
