Job Summary
Perform advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards under the direction of the Department Director. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. This per diem role involves 8-hour variable shifts at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, where caregivers deliver patient-focused, whole-person care within a network recognized for excellence in cancer, cardiology, and neonatal intensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or Completion of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Radiologic Technology Certification Committee (RTCC) of the CA Radiologic Health Branch
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- 8-hour, Variable shifts
