Job Summary
Perform advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of the Department Director and Radiology Supervisor, adhering to age-specific criteria and department standards. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Maintain California Radiologic Technologist certification, American Heart Association BLS, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire. Work 8-hour variable shifts on a per diem basis at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or Completion of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Radiologic Technology Certification Committee (RTCC) of the CA Radiologic Health Branch
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a hospital-based radiographer
