Job Summary
Conduct advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of the Department Director and supervision of the Radiology Supervisor. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Perform these duties utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards. This per diem role involves 8-hour variable shifts at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Completion of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Radiologic Technology Certification Committee (RTCC) of the CA Radiologic Health Branch
- California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Provider BLS
- National Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a hospital-based radiographer
