Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and process film for highly complex diagnostic exams. Utilize radiation safety devices, maintain and clean work areas, and report equipment malfunctions. Types, proofreads, and mails exam results while attending departmental in-services and staff development programs. Requires ARRT certification, current state license, and CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
