Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and process film for highly complex exams. Utilize radiation safety devices while typesetting, proofreading, and mailing results to ensure quality within the appropriate timeframe. Maintain and clean equipment work areas, reporting malfunctions or breakage appropriately. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs to maintain ARRT certification and state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
