Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs while adhering to ALARA awareness. Manage patient positioning factors and address individual or age-related requirements during procedures. Maintain Oregon Radiographer license or temporary license upon hire, obtaining national certification within six months. Complete required BLS training and satisfy any new graduate OBMI temporary license requirements. Work flexible full-time or part-time shifts including days and evenings at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
