Job Summary
Operate and maintain X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing all imaging exams in accordance with established policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the 11-bed Emergency Room facility. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under COLA and CLIA regulations, and maintain documentation, logs, and charts in both paper and electronic formats. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks for all imaging equipment. Perform Quality Control, Proficiency Testing, and Split Sample analysis as established by the facility. Night Shift (7p-7a) full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requires ARRT certification in radiography and CT (Las Vegas market), BLS certification, and two years of radiologic imaging experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Associate's degree in Radiology, preferred
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred
