Job Summary
Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed ioning radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Execute a variety of technical procedures within professional parameters established in registry requirements and policy specifications. Assume responsibility for assigned duties promptly and efficiently while complying with supervisor instructions. Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, patients, and guests to contribute to the overall success of the Radiology team. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration or eligibility, Texas Department of Health MRT certification, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- eligibility to take the registry with one year grace period for new graduates from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Texas Department of Health (MRT) Certification
- temporary Certification (TMRT)
- current Certified BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association
