Job Summary
Radiology Technologist – St. Mary's Hospital. Performs radiographic procedures under direction of an authorized user,.Position patients to best demonstrate the area of interest, applies radiation protection to minimize exposure, assists with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, documents pre/post procedure steps, and supports patient care in a radiology department (MRI) setting. Requires ARRT certification/registration and an associate degree (preferred); BLS required; prior experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred. Located in Richmond, VA, at St. Mary's Hospital. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team and adherence to safety and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification and Registration required
- BLS Basic Life Support required
- 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
- State Licensure preferred (unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
