Radiology Technologist (PRN NIGHTS)

Job Summary
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR readers, and PACS while performing technical assistance and supportive patient care for physicians and nurses. Execute imaging exams adhering to established policies, collect laboratory samples, and perform quality control and proficiency testing as required. Maintain all documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats, ensuring reagent supplies are adequate. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance checks on all imaging equipment. Perform duties as an ER Technician when needed and travel to all facility locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
