Radiology Technologist (PRN NIGHTS)

Job Summary
Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, and CR readers while performing technical assistance and supportive patient care for physicians, nurses, and staff. Execute CT and X-Ray exams, collect laboratory samples, and perform lab testing in accordance with COLA and CLIA regulations. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Maintain documentation, logs, charts, and records for quality control, proficiency testing, and split sample analysis. Perform duties as ER Technician as needed and travel to all facility locations. Requires current BLS certification, ARRT registration, and 2+ years of radiologic experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
