Job Summary
Radiology Technologist (PRN) at Northwest Specialty Hospital is a per-diem, 1-shift-per-week role responsible for performing radiologic imaging procedures in accordance with standards and protocols. Duties include ensuring patient safety through radiation protection techniques, obtaining cooperative patient interactions, producing high-quality radiographic images, documenting patient care in department records, and collaborating with healthcare staff while complying with facility policies. Requires completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program, and ARRT registration (or eligibility) with applicable permit, plus current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible and possess a permit to practice where applicable
- Current BLS certification required
