Radiology Technologist - PRN

PRN Radiology Technologist in the Radiology Diagnostics Dept at Alton Memorial Hospital. Performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnostic purposes, including on-call portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department. Prepares patient and equipment, conveys procedural instructions with high-level customer service, and conducts radiographic imaging examinations independently in on-call situations. Requires Associate degree (or trade school equivalent) and Illinois radiology licensure (IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI); CPR certification preferred. Ensures safe, accurate imaging within ED, OR, and hospital floors, including digital mammography-related workups and breast biopsy imaging as appropriate, in a PRN capacity to cover vacations and peak volumes.
