Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and utilize radiation safety devices while performing highly complex diagnostic exams. Types, proofreads, and mails results to ensure quality within the appropriate timeframe. Maintain and clean equipment work areas, reporting all malfunctions or breakage appropriately. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs to stay current with specialized exam procedures. Requires ARRT certification, current state license, and minimum two years of radiography training.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
