Job Summary
Operate radiographic and CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality exams under Radiologist/ER Physician protocols; proficient patient positioning and table setup; administer and consent for IV and oral contrast with awareness of possible reactions; document appropriately in patient charts; maintain radiation safety practices (ALARA) and equipment QA; ensure patient safety and satisfactory exam results while adhering to department policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology
- At least 1 year radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current State licensure (Texas, Colorado, Rhode Island per posting)
- BCLS Certification
