Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images while adhering to ALARA principles for minimal radiation exposure. Utilize clinical judgment regarding proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs tailored to individual and age-related requirements. Maintain Oregon Radiographer licensure or obtain a temporary license upon hire, with national certification required within 180 days. Complete BLS certification upon hire. Work per diem with variable shifts at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR, supporting a culture of patient-focused whole-person care.
