Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Utilize clinical judgment regarding proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs while adhering to ALARA awareness. Account for individual patients' unique and/or age-related needs during all procedures. Maintain Oregon Radiographer License or obtain Temporary License upon hire, securing National Certification within six months. Complete BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Work per-diem variable shifts on-site at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (Vendor Managed)
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
