Job Summary
The role involves preparing and positioning patients for imaging, selecting exposure factors accurately, and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice. Responsibilities include observing patients during procedures, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures, and managing the quality of images submitted to PACS. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and specific certifications such as BLS and ARRT. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the New York Department of Health obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
