Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images. Utilize clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs while maintaining ALARA awareness to minimize exposure. Ensure compliance with Oregon Radiographer License requirements and National Certification standards within six months of hire. This per diem role offers multiple shift availability at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
