Radiology Technologist – Per Diem

Escort patients to and from the x-ray department and take x-rays as directed by ordering physicians. Set up studies on digital imaging CR and DR units, schedule and document outpatient ultrasounds, and provide CDs of images when requested. Operate a c-arm for pain injection procedures as needed, print surgery films, and log exams received from outside facilities. Report equipment problems with CR and DR units to the supervisor and notify them when supplies are low. Maintain a clean and well-organized work area at all times while ensuring patient confidentiality and adhering to radiation safety procedures. Candidates must be flexible with location assignments across Shelton, Fairfield, Monroe, and Milford offices.
