Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician's orders utilizing sophisticated equipment, accounting for individual patient needs and age-related factors. Utilize clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and treatment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal exposure to patient and operator. Maintain ALARA awareness throughout all procedures. This per diem day shift role requires an Oregon Radiographer license or temporary license, with new graduates needing an OBMI temporary license and permanent licensure within six months. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 180 days of hire, along with a National Provider BLS certification. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, and incentives.
