Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment while accounting for individual patient needs. Apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal exposure. Maintain ALARA awareness throughout all procedures. This per diem, day-shift role at Providence Portland Medical Center requires an Oregon Radiographer License or temporary license, with national certification required within six months. BLS certification is mandatory upon hire. The position offers a base pay range of $36.99 to $57.44 with additional compensation available for shift differentials and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
