Radiology Technologist Pediatric

Job Summary
Perform plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams, including Bone Density when required. Explain procedures to patients, transport them to clinical areas, and position them for imaging while verifying identity. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS with correct markers and data. Maintain equipment functionality, follow radiation safety guidelines, and keep the department clean and orderly. May perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations. Requires completion of a Radiology program, ARRT certification, and BLS within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- ARRT-R within 6 months of hire date
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-BD Bone Density - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiographer, Licensed - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
