Job Summary
Interpret doctor's orders for radiography or treatment, position and instruct patients on procedures, and administer non-injectable contrast material while observing for reactions. Wet-up and operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment, then process and review radiographs for quality. Perform other duties as assigned. Licensed and registered as a Radiology Technologist with NYS Department of Health, with ARRT Certification in Radiology and BLS required. $53.42 per hour. St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center, a national leader in Cardiology & Heart Surgery on Long Island.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed & Registered as a Radiology Technologist with NYS Department of Health
- ARRT Certification in Radiology
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school
- BLS Required
