Job Summary
Coordinate specialized equipment, calculate technical factors, and process film for highly complex diagnostic exams. Utilize radiation safety devices while maintaining and cleaning equipment work areas, reporting any malfunctions or breakage. Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams to ensure quality within the appropriate timeframe. Attend departmental in-services and staff development programs to maintain competency. Requires ARRT certification, current state license, and CPR certification with a minimum of two years of radiography training.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified
- current license as required by the state
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program
- Working knowledge of all radiological equipment
- able to perform highly specialized exams as part of the diagnostic team
