Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs while maintaining ALARA awareness. Manage patient care for unique or age-related requirements during Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evening shifts from 11am to 11:30pm or 1pm to 9:30pm. Obtain Oregon Radiographer license and National Certification within six months of hire. Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
