Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs while adhering to ALARA awareness. Manage patient care for unique and age-related requirements across Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evening shifts. Maintain Oregon Radiographer licensure and obtain national certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
