Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders using sophisticated equipment, optimizing patient positioning and radiation dose calibration to produce high-quality images while adhering to ALARA principles. Evaluate individual and age-related patient needs to ensure minimal radiation exposure to both patients and operators. Maintain Oregon Radiographer licensure and obtain national certification within six months of hire, alongside BLS certification. Work part-time evening shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 11am to 9:30pm at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
