Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images while maintaining ALARA awareness for minimal radiation exposure. Apply clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs tailored to individual and age-related requirements. This part-time evening role includes Saturday and Sunday shifts from 11am-11:30pm and Monday from 1pm-9:30pm at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. Candidates must hold an Oregon Radiographer license or temporary license and obtain national certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
