Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders utilizing sophisticated equipment, adjusting positioning factors and radiation dose calibration to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal exposure. Apply ALARA awareness to ensure patient and operator safety while addressing individual and age-related patient needs. Maintain Oregon Radiographer licensure and obtain National Certification within 6 months of hire. Work evening shifts at Providence Milwaukie Hospital on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- Required National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire
