Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders using sophisticated equipment, accounting for individual patient needs and age-related factors. Utilize clinical judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal exposure to patient and operator. Maintain ALARA awareness throughout all procedures. Obtain Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License upon hire and achieve National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within six months. Complete National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. New graduates must obtain an OBMI temporary license and permanent license within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, Or
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
